The People's Republic of China once happened to be my dream spot. Collection of random newspaper articles, and preservation of all possible bric-a-bracs labelled "Made in China" were once my priced possessions and I had a great deal of good personal opinions for their culture unless I read this book. Even though this bloodstained plot was painted in Taiwan entirely, the real story had its roots in Chinese soil. That left me desolate and had me feel sorrowful deep down inside.
