WINE-THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS!

"Face the Fire" was one of the trilogies written by Ms. Roberts which I had read a couple of years back. Since then my interests started spreading towards the romantic genre too. The provocative fact is that you get easily turned on while tasting romance through reading. It kind of leaves you behind with a sensuous overflow of feelings that makes you want to curl up with the book until the upshot is gone.

The Giambelli-Macmillan vineyards make a superlative set-up for a compelling tale filled with charming love scenes and often incalculable turn of events. The passion keeps building up page by page between the characters which unassumingly wants us to see more chemistry and action.

From the unfolding stage to the maturing stage of relationships between two individuals, the cycle of love has been beautifully made analogous to the process of Winemaking. On the whole, "The Villa" leaves us wasted, utterly, lusciously wasted by the euphoric words.

Possum (2018) Director: Matthew Holness Starring: Sean Harris, Alun Armstrong A defamed children's puppeteer who is emotionally unstable and psychologically scarred plans to dispose of his grotesque puppet. Every time she tries discarding it, the puppet comes back to haunt him emotionally by being there in his room the very next day. This disturbs him in turn and deprives him of his sleep. His step-father also lives next door with whom he has an estranged relationship. Meanwhile, a young boy in the same neighbourhood gets kidnapped and the policemen start suspecting the puppeteer for it, given his weird behaviour and constant trips with the bag. MODIGLIANI (2004) Director: Mick Davis Starring : Andy García, Elsa Zylberstein, Omid Djalili Biopic of famous Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani. The movie is set in Paris in 1919 and takes you on an artistic journey showcasing the life and works of Modigliani. During that era, Modigliani's biggest rival was another world-famous artist, Pablo Picasso. Their competition, self-centric approach and ego project them as mighty contenders and arch-rivals in the field of art. This eventually leads them to face each other in a famous competition that the whole world was waiting for Modigliani Vs Picasso. The works of Modigliani stood the test of time and were celebrated because of the emotions they radiated. To this day, this is being examined. All of Modigliani's works were the manifestation of his own emotions and experiences. ALL FOR NOTHING

A text's verbosity reaches unfathomable grandiosity when poetry meets prose. Michael Ondaatje is gifted enough to weave a tale that's tragic in parts but wholly serene. At its core, "In the Skin of a Lion" treads the rugged path that courses a life chart making the journey somewhat worthwhile. Patrick Lewis is wildly swayed by the situational currents while what he truly yearns for is an ounce of regulated love. Love that is messy, uncompromising and effusively profound enough to make him feel things. At the fag end of his life, Patrick understands the universe's twisted sense of humour. In Patrick's case, timing plays a cursed role. Expectations are detached to deadlines. Everything has to run its course. Alignments don't care about our whims and fancies.
