On account of having seen the cover of this book, I'm now in a dire state to own up and say, "The theme was all over it!".Hunted with speculations, and a lot to exaggerate, the book had enticed me with it's gripping storyline and the coherence that congregated the events so interestingly. Everything was red for some reason, tanned by blood, the burning wounds, backlash, severed skin, rushing pain....uff..It all gave me trauma and I felt paranoid. It was as if, I was watching a hard-core thriller stuff.           For beginners, Simon Kendrick can actually be an absolute enigma to figure out what kind he belongs to. It's kind of a potpourri. He had it! Everything blended so well in the correct proportions, served hot and neat! My appetite's gone! Even the taster of "Severed" aroused anxiety. I felt very very light-headed when I started with the last chapter of the novel. But after completion, I should say, with a heavy heart I had to close the cover of it. It was some kind of a feeling that stood deserted between the awe of its continuation as well as the conclusion. I understood that the title "Pearl in the Mist" was very apt to the story itself. At times the novel made me think about what Ruby Laundry's life would have been for me if I had been in her space. Women should try to be relentless and resolute.,as much as the society and her situation put on her it's demands. THE CHARIOT OF OUR ANGELS!   After so many phases of colour transformations, finally, our bus has become yellow....Yellow????.sigh........ Emails or Phones or WhatsApp didn't exist then. Though these gates did scare us a few times...it very well taugh...

I just wanted to yell out "Gimme a break!!" I was totally glued to my chair, my floor, my dining table, my couch..right from the second, the book was in my hands. My eyes neither were tired of scanning the words and wanted more... I didn't have time for any vision or supposition about the cap sheaf. Was like a rumble in the Bronx ......Roller Coaster..Extreme Thriller...Absolute Entertainer!!!!

Some things are meant to be remembered better than to be ignored just like how we wanted them to be done. Retaliating to past memories could bring pain and sorrow that is so intense as well as fierce enough to kill us. But one thing is for sure..even the scars left as remains by those painful memories bring a strange sense of comfort and satisfaction... That's why we aren't blessed with a memory that isn't completely dumping things each day...We ought to forget and that's the magic of the word "Remember".
