A STRESS-BUSTER!!!

The main idea behind the theme of this novel, from what I construe would be to bring out the typical livelihood of any woman who hasn't lost the last bit of hope, giving yet another try in a relationship. How many times, the lightning strike the same place, a construction keeps rising. (I remember having read this somewhere). Rather than making it all a soap opera, Olivia had so beautifully brought in her wittiness and sarcasm. Whatever killer Looks or makeovers, you may opt for and let them conquer you, still there wouldn't be any success in concealing your indigenous roots, would there??  We'd still be the "Same old Bina" fragile beings at heart. An extra coating is pointless.
                                                                       I didn't quite like the way it culminated. Billy Nolan cannot possibly be the kind of person who'd kept it going too. But Kate was portrayed in a very special way. She'd easily get over a Billion "Billys" and a Million "Michaels" unless she's got those ever-supportive "Friends" Brice and Elliot along with the most adorable "Bitches of  Bushwick" ----------------Mazel Tov Ladies!!!

ALL FOR NOTHING

  A text's verbosity reaches unfathomable grandiosity when poetry meets prose. Michael Ondaatje is gifted enough to weave a tale that's tragic in parts but wholly serene. At its core, "In the Skin of a Lion" treads the rugged path that courses a life chart making the journey somewhat worthwhile. Patrick Lewis is wildly swayed by the situational currents while what he truly yearns for is an ounce of regulated love. Love that is messy, uncompromising and effusively profound enough to make him feel things. At the fag end of his life, Patrick understands the universe's twisted sense of humour. The movie is set in Paris in 1919 and takes you on an artistic journey showcasing the life and works of Modigliani. During that era, Modigliani's biggest rival was another world-famous artist, Pablo Picasso. Their competition, self-centric approach and ego project them as mighty contenders and arch-rivals in the field of art. This eventually leads them to face each other in a famous competition that the whole world was waiting for Modigliani Vs Picasso. The works of Modigliani stood the test of time and were celebrated because of the emotions they radiated. To this day, this is being examined. All of Modigliani's works were the manifestation of his own emotions and experiences.
