The varied rituals and cultural aspects of The Great Indian Families stand tall, disregarding their financial status and trendiness. However fat, the stack of cash, that they earn is, whatever elite the community to which, they belong is, Values are Values. As the Cliche goes, Truth always prevails."Sisters" sheds light on some of the unspeakable, intolerable lifestyles of the Creamy Layer.
              
                      People of that sort, save their emotions and hardly be any frantic when certain lines are crossed. Ms.De had beautifully and meticulously detailed the stark secrets and lifestyles, they have. A few places have words so slash, unbearable to perceive, where it requires to be perceived. Our lenses and their projections are beyond the scope of being likely. The hidden vulnerability,easy-peasy-lemon-sqeezy dealings and slip-ups and stinks are made insatiable beneath the facade of posh and outwardness. They redeem it all well. Ms. De also passively ridicules the most preserved family ethics through her characters. Culture had long lost its lustre and so had the uniqueness and necessity for a man/woman to secure his/her virginity for the sake of that one partner in his/her life.
One thing to be sure of is......"Karma's definitely not a Bitch!"

East Side Sushi (2014) Director: Anthony Lucero Starring: Diana Elizabeth Torres, Yutaka Takeuchi This movie has a beautiful, dramatic plot that brings together the mouth-watering cuisines of Mexico and Japan. Juana (J, silent) is a single Mexican mother living with her elderly father and her young daughter managing her own little roadside fruit stall. Though it's a tasteless job with less income, she has no choice. One day, she gets mugged and assaulted by a few strangers and all the money she had saved so far by selling fruits is gone. Devastated, she starts looking for jobs. There is a job opening in a Japanese restaurant for a Maid who is expected to clean the utensils and maintain the pantry. Though being an amazing cook herself, Juana would have expected a better position, she takes up this job without complaining.
