ROAD TO REVELATION

Some journeys are very mysterious in their own ways. What, we think to be normal, and not so special turns out to be an incredible and remarkable journey in our lives. One such travelogue is this  "Night Train to Lisbon". Pascal Mercier had managed to describe the most exotic experience of a traveller with an apt choice of sentence construction and charming vocabulary. Throughout the book, the author reflects on his expertise in mixing thoughts with the long-lasting desires, that the lead character of this book, possesses. Feelings filled with the humidity of emotions reverberate in the midst of the inner silence of the protagonist and the city's cacophony. Amandeu de Prado, the hero of this novel, has made his presence everywhere through intriguing notes and close-knit relations.                This book is very indulgent when it comes to expatiating and empathizing with another person's musings. It's definitely a great venture th...

LIGHT OF LIFE

Life per Se is an answer to all those prayers we had made as the soul's bud. Miracles are little uneventful happenings that were never meant to come our way meanwhile taking our breath away. Most of the time, we fail to acknowledge our exact desire and hope for living and to accept things on the run. Sadly, we also forget to realize that the only need is change.   We set our goals, hinge on responsibilities, design our destiny and have an aplomb about our decisions. The fear of acceptance of sudden change in things originates from the thought of the inflexion it might create over the silence of one's own soul. Risk is elusive and eccentric which keeps us hankering for attempting certain acts, till they are done. As it had happened to Faith Madison, situations can't come as circumstantial setups yet the last bit of expectancy can be created by one's own effort and courage to make that one minor difference. Very warm and touching.

SAVORIES OF THE SAVED!!

In the advent of "The Festival of Love", where human mating is legal on streets for a conceived duration in High East Offerance, our amazingly excited Elect of God III, Isis Whit..blah blah blah...begins her mission in pursuit of her long-lost cousin Morag(now a reigning porn star). Highly flummoxed by the habits and cultural differences of the Unsaved, this Granddad's little girl decides to give it a push and sticks to the search. The timely support and assistance of her city-bound brethren lift her spirits up. Mr. Banks has an elusive complication in the usage of words to ornate his narration. Some of them were very unheard of yet had beautiful sounds and synonyms that fortified the entire coherence. He refurbishes the whole structure of his language with a wise choice of sentences and phrases. Humour, when hidden, makes it even more wanting and worthy. As things in this story move to a clearer spot, so many truths get unfolded and responsively it's just recurs...

SISTERS ACT

The varied rituals and cultural aspects of The Great Indian Families stand tall, disregarding their financial status and trendiness. However fat, the stack of cash, that they earn is, whatever elite the community to which, they belong is, Values are Values. As the Cliche goes, Truth always prevails."Sisters" sheds light on some of the unspeakable, intolerable lifestyles of the Creamy Layer.                                      People of that sort, save their emotions and hardly be any frantic when certain lines are crossed. Ms.De had beautifully and meticulously detailed the stark secrets and lifestyles, they have. A few places have words so slash, unbearable to perceive, where it requires to be perceived. Our lenses and their projections are beyond the scope of being likely. The hidden vulnerability,easy-peasy-lemon-sqeezy dealings and slip-ups and stinks are made insatiable beneath the fa...

BREAK THE CODES!

With so many inexplicable expectations in mind, just because I've seen a couple of Dan Brown's works on screen, I started eagerly, this thrilling ride. Cryptography and Network Security had been one of my elective papers at college. Hence the prerequisite knowledge necessary for knowing what the Digital Fortress is all about was already with me. The art of deciphering codes, Cipher processing giants like TRANSLTR, cyber laws, virus filters such as GAUNTLET, kill codes, Anagrams, Backdoors, Rotating Text Patterns, Brute Force Attacks and so much more jargon that could make cryptography, an interesting subject for the readers even if he does plumbing, for a living.                The Stratagems employed by the Crypto personnel in breaking codes, bypassing filters, tracing e-mails and the virtual existence of the Paramount peacemaker NSA were all just spot on and beyond question. The operative actions taken during the last minute in order to pr...

FROM RUSSIA,WITH LOVE.

What I found very much refined in Anton Chekhov's works is the absence of nondescript story characters. Everything stands out, well embossed, either via the titles or the plot. Russian Lifestyle, Architectural marvels, Arts, Sophistication, and Politics, were blended well into the narratives. Notable ones among them are  A Misfortune, Vanka, Zinochitka, Volodya, A Gentleman Friend, Joy, The Album, Strong Impressions , etc. let alone " At a Country House " which reminded me of a filibuster.                                                  His stories are neat, simple, and easily understandable to grasp the moral. Plain story-telling, during those days, was regarded as special and all-embracing too. Literary styles do get their transition and trends as time goes by. Endings, hardly any twists, short yet sweet and engaging. "Classics are Classic...

COLD-BLOODED YET CONVINCING!!

The People's Republic of China once happened to be my dream spot. Collection of random newspaper articles, and preservation of all possible bric-a-bracs labelled "Made in China" were once my priced possessions and I had a great deal of good personal opinions for their culture unless I read this book.                  Even though this bloodstained plot was painted in Taiwan entirely, the real story had its roots in Chinese soil. That left me desolate and had me feel sorrowful deep down inside. At times these Good old, Time-honored traditions put up the act of notoriety. Veneration towards these absurdities and illegal daring activities takes the people to another level of brutality and stupidity.                    I just can't describe the way I felt after reading each line Li Ang had penned down. It was shocking enough to get my breath every time I had to envisage those happenings and ev...

A PERFECT MESS!

As said by the critics and readers that were regular read all of Sandra brown's works, each chapter in her novels ends with an unpredictable suspense, shock would be a more congruous word to use here. The method that she uses to glue the set of events and the way of portrayal sends shivers down our spines. Still, the entire story had recreation fully packed and it kept giving a sense of comfort that the climax would turn out to be positive. She uses simple one-liners and wits that blend in well with the situation. The wonderful picture of the spate of events happening from time to time inside the store and outside in the van reminded me of an informative tableaux.            This also gives a cutting edge to the suspense that keeps mounting throughout the entire story. To sum up, next time, I find any of Sandra's on the rack, I'd not spare it.                                ...

BASEBALLS AND COTTON BOLLS!

I wouldn't say it all ended as I wanted it to, Yet it was light and I liked it. A young adolescent's journey towards his dreams, in a place that he expects, would make things big for him. Simplicity keeps embellishing each word written here. When the food is being cooked in the kitchen, I can feel the warmth of it wafting through the doors. A farmer's life, the entire clad of the Chandlers, that depended on cotton, thoroughly enunciates the struggle to run itself in the midst of the society. People that are so well-bred, live with self-respect and dignity in a community, in a place like Arkansas. The usual picture of contemporary gossip, curiosities, and colours of characters doesn't seem as complicated as they are in reality, after reading John Grisham. This one's definitely soft, wet and mild as a dew, damp and mellifluous.                                    Luke's life is the reader's ...

FATTY FANTASY!!

Humor, while writing must make you feel the actual drollness."Whoso hath  the prowess to emanate comicality hath had a wonderful way of living." Having made a beautiful picture comprising of the good old aristocratic fashion, a gamut of emotions and enjoyable entities of literature, P.G stands out. Men could dive into the sea of emotions with one desperate hope of finding the bit of wit, so that when finally out, that's all they would have., to laugh and have fun. And it becomes a  delightful treat if the humour finds the residence in the womankind.  It's definitely a great collection of sarcasm and etymology stuff. Novels draw their exceptional qualities from the fragrance sprayed on the words used to make them up. And Old English has added so much fun and frisk to the verses and conversations. If I happen to see PG or the pig(be it The Empress or The Queen of Michigan), all I'd say is..."It was an absolute pleasure" and a big bow to that last-minute...
