COLD-BLOODED YET CONVINCING!!

The People's Republic of China once happened to be my dream spot. Collection of random newspaper articles, and preservation of all possible bric-a-bracs labelled "Made in China" were once my priced possessions and I had a great deal of good personal opinions for their culture unless I read this book. Even though this bloodstained plot was painted in Taiwan entirely, the real story had its roots in Chinese soil. That left me desolate and had me feel sorrowful deep down inside. At times these Good old, Time-honored traditions put up the act of notoriety. Veneration towards these absurdities and illegal daring activities takes the people to another level of brutality and stupidity. I just can't describe the way I felt after reading each line Li Ang had penned down. It was shocking enough to get my breath every time I had to envisage those happenings and even thrust myself to the thought that said, "Believe! It happened for real!" One thing well-learnt. Time had taken its toll. Cooing into the microphones amongst crowded streets against Womankind oppression won't work or reach the right ears. But a book that entirely delivers Barbarism, Contemptuousness and Servility that society projects towards us, Definitely will!! This book isn't a delight to be enjoyed but a medicine to be taken.

MOVIE REVIEW-POSSUM

Possum (2018) Director: Matthew Holness Starring: Sean Harris, Alun Armstrong A defamed children's puppeteer who is emotionally unstable and psychologically scarred plans to dispose of his grotesque puppet. Every time she tries discarding it, the puppet comes back to haunt him emotionally by being there in his room the very next day. This disturbs him in turn and deprives him of his sleep. His step-father also lives next door with whom he has an estranged relationship. Meanwhile, a young boy in the same neighbourhood gets kidnapped and the policemen start suspecting the puppeteer for it, given his weird behaviour and constant trips with the bag. MODIGLIANI (2004) Director: Mick Davis Starring : Andy García, Elsa Zylberstein, Omid Djalili Biopic of famous Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani. The movie is set in Paris in 1919 and takes you on an artistic journey showcasing the life and works of Modigliani. During that era, Modigliani's biggest rival was another world-famous artist, Pablo Picasso. Their competition, self-centric approach and ego project them as mighty contenders and arch-rivals in the field of art. This eventually leads them to face each other in a famous competition that the whole world was waiting for Modigliani Vs Picasso. Cujo (1993) Director: Lewis Teague Starring: Dee Wallace, Daniel Hugh-Kelly, Danny Pintauro This movie is based on one of the many critically acclaimed Stephen King novels by the same name. Cujo is a horror show where you find a friendly St Bernard who gets infected by the Rabies Virus and starts exhibiting aggression and restlessness. The abnormal behaviour worsens as the virus infection intensifies and Cujo becomes a threat to people around.
